Who is responsible?
For this website, WebTechnics Belgium is the controller. That is the sole proprietorship of Gaudric Klinck Jonckheere, company number 1000.945.671 (BE 1000.945.671), Steensedijk 286 bus 102, 8400 Oostende. No VAT is charged: small business under the exemption scheme (article 56bis of the Belgian VAT code).
Questions about your data: gaudric@web-technics.services or WhatsApp +32 483 69 85 71. web-technics.com is the site of the head office in Cambodia and is not covered by this policy.
Which data?
Contact, quote and intake forms: your name, email, phone, company and what you write, plus the package you choose. After a Stripe payment, the return link can carry a session id so we can tie the payment to your intake. We do not store full card numbers.
If you book a call, TidyCal processes what you enter in that calendar. If you write to us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes that conversation under its own rules, and we read the message in order to reply.
The site runs on our own VPS at Hostinger in the European Union. The server may keep technical logs, such as IP address, time and browser type, to stop abuse. Google Analytics 4 loads only after you accept analytics cookies.
Why, and on what basis?
Answering a message, preparing a quote and carrying out a paid job are steps to prepare or perform a contract (GDPR article 6.1.b). Invoices and the hosting subscription are also kept because accounting law requires it (article 6.1.c).
Server logs are used to secure the site. That is a legitimate interest (article 6.1.f). Analytics only with your consent (article 6.1.a). You can refuse as easily as you accept, and you can withdraw consent later.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for a list that we resell to third parties.
Who we work with
Hostinger provides the VPS in the EU on which this static site, client hosting and professional email run.
Web3Forms delivers the forms to our inbox. Stripe processes payment of the package and of the €70 yearly subscription for the domain, professional email and hosting. TidyCal, with BunnyCDN for the embed script, shows the calendar. Google Ireland Limited receives analytics data only after you agree.
Those parties act for us as processors or, for Stripe, WhatsApp and Google, also as controllers of their own payment, messaging or measurement service. Where they are processors, we put in place the contracts the GDPR requires.
Outside the EEA
We use Hostinger in the EU. Web3Forms, Stripe, TidyCal, Google or WhatsApp may also process data outside the European Economic Area. We then rely on the transfer ground that service publishes, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
The sole proprietorship is in Belgium. A job is followed from here.
How long we keep data
Enquiries that do not become a job: 24 months after the last contact, then we delete them. If there is a job, we keep the file for the life of the work and afterwards until the legal accounting period has passed, as a rule 7 years for invoices.
Server logs: up to 30 days, longer only while we investigate an incident. Analytics, if you consent: 14 months at most in Google Analytics. TidyCal bookings: the appointment plus 12 months. WhatsApp messages on our side: as long as we need them to reply, then we delete them on our side. Meta keeps its own period.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Withdraw analytics consent through the cookie choice at the bottom of the site.
Email gaudric@web-technics.services. We reply within one month. If the request is complex, that can extend to three months, and we will say so.
You can also complain to the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit (Belgian Data Protection Authority), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be. That right sits alongside a request to us.
Cookies
Your cookie choice is stored locally in your browser. That is needed to respect the decision. We do not use it for advertising.
Google Analytics 4 starts only after you agree. Without agreement we do not set analytics cookies. Stripe, TidyCal and Web3Forms may set their own cookies when you use their payment page, calendar or script. Read their policies.
Children and changes
This site is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly ask for data from anyone under 13.
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top. A change that affects your consent is asked again.
