Who, and which jobs
These terms cover websites, SEO and the hosting package you buy from WebTechnics Belgium, the sole proprietorship of Gaudric Klinck Jonckheere in Ostend, through web-technics.services. Company number 1000.945.671 (BE 1000.945.671). No VAT is charged.
web-technics.com is a different site. A job through this site is with the Belgian sole proprietorship.
Quotes and packages
The packages and the €70 yearly subscription are on the pricing page. A package covers what is listed there. Extra pages, languages or features outside the package are a separate quote. The pay button does not add those extras by itself.
A quote we confirm in writing is valid for the period stated on it. With no period, count 30 days.
VAT
WebTechnics Belgium does not charge VAT. The sole proprietorship is under the special small-business exemption, article 56bis of the Belgian VAT code (WBTW).
Small business subject to the tax exemption scheme. VAT does not apply.
The company number is 1000.945.671 (BE 1000.945.671).
Performance-based website
A performance-based website is not a package. You pay €0 up front and you sign no contract at the start. You pay only once leads come in, such as a form, WhatsApp or a phone call. The price per lead is custom.
It is fully trust-based, with no minimum term. By application only, and only after a brand analysis. Not every application is accepted. Spam is filtered and not billed. Once our work has shown results, the deal agreed at the start is put into a contract.
Payment
You pay through a Stripe payment link. It bundles the one-time package price and the first year of €70 for the domain name, professional email and hosting. On the free AI package you pay only that yearly subscription.
We start the build after payment has arrived and the intake form is filled in, or after you have accepted a quote. Stripe processes the card payment. We receive the confirmation, not your full card number.
If you later upgrade to a higher package, the amount you already paid is deducted from the price of that package.
The €70 yearly subscription
€70 a year covers the domain name, a professional mailbox and hosting on our VPS. The first year is inside the Stripe payment. After that the subscription renews yearly until you cancel it.
Cancel by email to gaudric@web-technics.services before the renewal date. We then stop the renewal. Until the end of the paid period the site stays online.
After that we take the site offline, unless we agree something else in writing. The mailbox stops as well. If you ask before the end for a transfer of the domain name, we help with that while the name is on our account and has not expired. We do not hold a domain name in order to block you.
Delivery and what we need from you
You supply copy, images and decisions you have the rights to. We do not invent photos of a team that does not exist.
Delivery in one to two working days applies only when we agree it and your content is ready. Other jobs get a date in the confirmation. Late feedback or missing material moves that date.
Design
During design, a designer builds the site and we stay in contact, by WhatsApp or email if you want that, so details can be tuned while the site takes shape.
Adjustments during that design phase are part of the job. A later wish outside what we agreed is extra work, and we price it before we start.
Rights and portfolio
After full payment you may use the site we made for you for your own activity. Until then the designs stay with us. Fonts, photos and third-party software follow that third party’s licence.
We may show the live site in our portfolio unless you refuse that in writing before launch. We do not put your prices on that card.
Aftercare
Aftercare after launch is on request. There is no fixed price. An aftercare package can include social media management, SEO maintenance and updates, and blog posts. Small changes, such as a phone number or a short text, are generally free.
A larger change, a new page or a new feature is agreed separately.
Hosting
We make reasonable efforts to keep the hosting available. That is a best-effort duty, not a promised uptime percentage. Maintenance, a failure at the provider or force majeure can make the site unreachable for a while.
We do not guarantee a Google ranking. An agreement where you pay for a measurable result exists only when it is in writing.
Liability
We are not liable for indirect loss, such as missed revenue or a missed search ranking, as far as the law allows.
For loss that can be compensated, we limit liability to the amount you paid us for that job in the twelve months before the loss. That limit does not apply in case of intent or fraud, or where the law forbids it.
Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For a custom website that right ends once we start the work, if you expressly asked us to start beforehand and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal once performance begins. That follows article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law.
If you ask us to start immediately, we record that request. A hosting subscription already supplied for the period that has passed follows the rules for services that have already been performed.
Law and courts
Belgian law applies. The courts of West Flanders, Ostend division, have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, the mandatory rules on the court of your place of residence still apply.
